Friendly hotel. Stayed for 2 nights and the food was very good and excellent value for money. Chalet room was small but acceptable for a short stay. Overall a very enjoyable weekend.
Chalet room was small, but adequate for a short stay. Itemised billing would help most people to understand the invoice at checkout, but if you know roughly what you have accrued it can be worked out.
A reasonably central location in Banbury. the town was quite sweet with some lovely walks along the canal for the dog. The location of the hotel is up a hill so walking into town ok, the return a little harder. We enjoyed the evening meal, chosen from a very varied menu. The staff were extremely friendly, especially the barmaid/waitperson. Good to see facilities for hot drinks in the room, usable any time of the day.The space was a little bit cramped in the room, but easy to unload from the car being a motel style outside suite.Good parking
Not much space in the room, difficult to access the bathroom.
The location was very convenient for attending meetings around Banbury. Staff were helpful and my room was comfortable. The price and subsequent value for money are very high
Whilst the room was generally clean and tidy the back of the tv had not been dusted
the rooms outside the main building are slightly smoll but you get to park your car right infront the door
The selection of tea/coffee/biscuits etc was very good.
The room was not as clean as you would expect, the bed was lumpy, the facilities were quite basic. Lots of external noise from air conditioning or laundry.
The bed was extremely uncomfortable and noisy every time one of us turned over. The frame appeared to be loose judging by the noise. The room was not particularly clean. The small sofa in the room was filthy, I have seen cleaner furniture in my local council refuse skip.
clean small room but adequate for a short stay - car parking restricted & may be difficult if the hotel was full otherwise reasonable priced accommodation
basic budget B&B, double room was tiny but comfortable, breakfast adequate, wifi worked well
Whilst at the hotel there was heavy rain fall and due to this rain seeped throught the roof. I phoned the reception to inform them and was told to put a towel under it!! When i queried this on paying my bill i was he said to me 'you said it was only dripping'. I stayed in the hotel with my young son and when plugging in the lamp the casing of the electical pint in the room was exposed and the metal frame was butted up against it. I was really not happy with the condition or reponse of the hotelier. it is not a safe place to be..i was in shallet 51
Very comfortable room, excellent bed and en-suite facilities. all non-smoking, so that is brilliant, no smells especially. Breakfast was good and speedily served
Parking was tight, booking was entered for a different day to which I booked, so awkward few moments at check-in, but eventually resolved.
hotel room was ready even though I arrived just after noon. Given double room for single occupancy at single room price. Very comfortable and pleasant. slept very well. Very convenient location and good free car park around back.
Good location for my one night's stay, and the breakfast was satisfactory
Room needs a total refurbishment...The room was located in the carpark, as it was an extension to the main building. The room's entrance was covered with a carpet of cigarette butts and the TV did not receive basic TV channels properly as well as being covered in a layer of dust..The bathroom was very basic, and was in need of a decoration
Excellent food and beautiful room for breakfast, good parking and very convenient for the town centre.
i was very surprised wen i arrived it looked beautilful and wud recomend it 2 other ppl the bed was amazin the staff very friendly
none that we cud think of
Excellent price, good location only a short walk into town, free parking.
Reception in the morning consisted of a trainee, took over 15mins to serve the guest in front of me, When I questioned the length of time to settle an account - the sarcastic 'sorry you had to wait a little while' didnt go down well! in the end I simply left my key on the desk and left.
